i got tagged by andrea at her lovely blog to do this little list and amuse myself for a while on a cloudy day.
What is your current obsession?
as you can probably tell, French New Wave films. For example, I am addicted to watching the vibrant colors in Pierrot Le Fou: ice blue, blood red, snow white. And the way Corinne Marchand sings this song called Cry of Love (Sans Toi) in Agnes Varda's Cleo 5 to 7 and completely changes her approach to life. I love the way these films explore rebellion and freedom: freedom from ideologies and narratives that impose limits and trap us with their boundaries.
What is your weirdest obsession ?
ummmm...maybe my new Bonger. Everyone makes fun of me for it but I INSIST UPON ADORING IT.
What are you wearing today ?
white ruffly skirt, velvety navy blue vest with flowers and birds on it, and a puff sleeve turquoise shirt underneath. barefeet and clean hair.
What’s for dinner ?
baked tofu, salad, beans. we're trying to be really healthy starting today!
What would you eat for your last meal ?
big black bean burrito with spanish rice, homemade pico de gallo, tons of cilantro, cheese, fresh avocado, lime and salt.

chocolates from Topaz Lodge on our way up Hwy 395 on our way home from Bodie last night. Oh wait, I already went grocery shopping today too but that's too boring. A few days ago I bought a bunch of books at the Bookery on Main Street including Abbey's Road by Edward Abbey and The Mountains of California by John Muir both for Joey for his birthday.
