Rainbows and Daffodils....and more importantly.....

 IT'S A GIRL!!!!!


the ultrasound appointment was lovely. we got to see her little legs and arms and heart and brain and spine. 
her foot was almost touching her forehead; she was all curled up cozy on her right side.
it went so quick. i could have looked for hours.
everything looked great she currently weighs 15 oz. and she should be ready to greet the world in july.
my heart could burst with joy.



all the daffodils and gardenia and plum blossoms are bursting right along with me!
it's a pretty dang beautiful world over here and i couldn't be happier.

and now we're spending the rest of the day organizing her nursery :)

Knew it! :D Congrats! That's such wonderful news. I guess July is the month for sweet babies to come into the world, one of my dear friends is due then too. I absolutely love that skirt btw, you look gorgeous, as usual. And those double hair buns are adorable :) Someday you and your daughter must wear matching ones in your hair!

I'm back! Guess my phone doesn't like making comments. Any hoo. I'm just so excited for you two and I'm just overflowing with love for this sweet tender baby. I'm so glad I get to be a part of her life. The kids are way happy but of course the boys were rooting for boys. I just can't wait to see this blessed baby. I want to hold and cuddle her now. Im dying to see if she is going to be the perfect bend of just one or the other. You and darin both were the cutest babies. You and your friends can kept talking clothes, I just want that baby!!! handmade homes take to the open road

i want this to be us so bad...rollin away in a fairytale bus made of wood and wheels, porch and books. this is from another book in the series of rad 70s handmade house books that i've written about before and missa wrote about here  ( raddest houseboats ever, ever, ever ) this one is all about handmade hippie houses on the road. we have it at the bookery in the locked case; it's a collectible and thus way out of my price range. but i still get to look at its gloriousness. these photos of the pages look much better than mine, found in this wonderful little delight here , check these caravans out: standing in the mist with its little terra cotta pots and windowpanes, killing this fairytale heart a mine. i can picture joey and emily in this one, our neighbors. and this one can house addie and art, and we'll drive cross the prairies together. this covered-wagon one seems the most fun of all. roll back the canvas and sleep
