"Some are born to sweet delight...."


my sweet things this week:

grapefruit! ultimate craving lately, so good i drool over it.

this is my new favorite drink. it is a very tart and yummy lemonade, comes in regular, mango, strawberry and raspberry...i love them all but they are definitely a treat drink.

speaking of treats....i couldn't resist these easter candies at the store. they were my squishy sweet favorites as a kid and i find them immensely satisfying. darin says, please don't show that on your blog.

this sweet little ferny belly. when she gets the chance she rolls in the sun with pure delight, falling over in one irresistible swoop and just rolling and rolling.

i thrifted this hoodie last week and it has become another new favorite.






march has been a sweet sweet month.
it is a pleasant springish time to be pregnant. 
i'm singing songs to myself all day long, making things and cleaning things, thrifting a lot, feeling this baby move inside me till i'm unable to wipe the smile off my face, just feeling happy happy happy.

Tell Darin that getting to see your Easter candies is part of why I love this blog :D And then I'd probably stick my tongue out because I'm a dork so feel free to throw that in too! You are such a radiant beauty, especially pregnant! It suits you so well, m'dear. And I adore those red tennis shoes on you. Those are the only lace up shoes I'd wear, if I had a pair :)



Keep signing - pretty soon a pair of sweet ears will take comfort in those songs you sing. And spring is great. We're loving it too round these parts.

handmade homes take to the open road

i want this to be us so bad...rollin away in a fairytale bus made of wood and wheels, porch and books. this is from another book in the series of rad 70s handmade house books that i've written about before and missa wrote about here  ( raddest houseboats ever, ever, ever ) this one is all about handmade hippie houses on the road. we have it at the bookery in the locked case; it's a collectible and thus way out of my price range. but i still get to look at its gloriousness. these photos of the pages look much better than mine, found in this wonderful little delight here , check these caravans out: standing in the mist with its little terra cotta pots and windowpanes, killing this fairytale heart a mine. i can picture joey and emily in this one, our neighbors. and this one can house addie and art, and we'll drive cross the prairies together. this covered-wagon one seems the most fun of all. roll back the canvas and sleep
