I LOVE FALL!!! i know everyone is saying this right now, but the cooler temperatures, fluttering leaves, gentle sunlight, pumpkin spice candles, caramel lattes, sweaters, warm socks, ghostly moons, leggings, apple crisps, long shadows and even a bit of rain, well all of this really puts a sparkle in my eyes and a big goofy cozy happy grin on my jack-o-lantern face.

oh, heather, she is a precious little doll. :) i know you and your husband are so very proud of your sweet little baby girl.. she is so happy and has the sweetest little smile. :) just precious.... happy birthday, as well, to that special man of yours... ya'll have a great day!!!! yes, i love fall as you do!!!! the sweaters, yummy smells, hot cocoa and marshmallows... stews, soups cuddling up with a warm blanket or quilt and reading a good book, huh? LOL...

Awww so cute pictures of your little pumpkin. I know about the fall I do love this season, down south here though it is still so very hot yesterday it was 93 ....we are having such a warm fall this year I can't wait for it to cool off. Happy Birthday to your guy!! ~Love Heather

she grows more and more childlike by the day-- but man oh man Heather--she is looking so much like her mama day by day! this first photo is precious and a spitting image of you!!! I'm sure as she grows she will take on more of Darin's features as well, but right now she is all mama!

Oh my goodness!!! That first pic really is just heart melting. Not sure I'll be able to take it if that babe of yours keeps getting cuter at the rate she's going. It's been said a bunch, but she is indeed a living doll, it's crazy.

I hope Darin had a joyful birthday! How could he not with you by his side and that adorable little face staring up at him :)

handmade homes take to the open road

i want this to be us so bad...rollin away in a fairytale bus made of wood and wheels, porch and books. this is from another book in the series of rad 70s handmade house books that i've written about before and missa wrote about here  ( raddest houseboats ever, ever, ever ) this one is all about handmade hippie houses on the road. we have it at the bookery in the locked case; it's a collectible and thus way out of my price range. but i still get to look at its gloriousness. these photos of the pages look much better than mine, found in this wonderful little delight here , check these caravans out: standing in the mist with its little terra cotta pots and windowpanes, killing this fairytale heart a mine. i can picture joey and emily in this one, our neighbors. and this one can house addie and art, and we'll drive cross the prairies together. this covered-wagon one seems the most fun of all. roll back the canvas and sleep
